Ocean City Wedding Venues

Wedding Venues in Ocean City, Venues that make for a great wedding location.

Seacrets & Fagers – Beachy Fun wedding venues

If you are looking for more of an outdoors, beach wedding surrounded by the wedding venue then these two venues are for you.  Both offers settings that include palm trees, sand under your feet, and plenty of wonderful photo spots.  You will definitely get that feeling of being in a tropical vacation spot.

Seacrets is by far the largest, and the main spot they offer for weddings, is often times sectioned off from the rest of the crowds.  So you will have your own bar and food area, tables and a nice section for a DJ and wedding cake.

Fagers to me seems better for a smaller gathering and is more private and intimate.  They offer a section that is away from the crowds and has its own bar and food area, spot for your wedding cake, and beautiful spot for your wedding ceremony.

Both venues have an awesome staff, they have always been helpful to me, and the wedding couples I’ve seen married there.  And both offer alternate options in case it rains.

Clarion & Golden Sands – Upper Ocean City

Both of these wedding venues are located in north ocean city, which makes getting around a lot easier.  The further south you go the more congested it will get with traffic and people.

The Clarion has a few big wedding halls, which doesn’t mean you have to get married in them, but is a great back up plan in case it rains.  They have their own private beach area, I would recommend getting close to the ocean itself, to hear the ocean waves as your getting married just makes it more magical.

The Golden Sands has its wedding hall up on the 22nd floor and is very unique with its amazing view.  I like they have a bride getting ready area near the main hall.  They too have their own private beach, but the setting is different so you can see the ocean from there and it makes for a great spot and easy for guests to get to and from the wedding ceremony and the reception.

What’s nice about both venues is that you can book your rooms for you and your guests and get married at the same location.  Both offer back up rain options.

Dune’s Manor & Grand Hotel – Lower Ocean City

Much like the above two locations, the Dunes and the Grand are massive hotels with wedding halls.  Both the Dune’s Manor and The Grand hotel are located right on the beach for a great wedding ceremony.  And both offer options for the off chance it rains.

Some issues you might encounter would be reservations, so book early.  Its been my experience most people like to stay near the boardwalk, and book their vacations near there, which is why it is often so busy.  Parking as well might be an issue, to keep that in mind.

Harrison’s Harbor Watch – Bottom of Ocean City

One of my all time favorite spots to get married and to have a wedding reception.  Getting married this far south in Ocean City, you have many different spots to get married on the beach, like on the jetty of rocks, the pier, the beach, and if you are feeling adventurous, get married on the Ferris wheel close by.

The Harrison’s Harbor Watch over looks the inlet area, and when it comes time to take some sunset photos, you can pop out and back in to get those fun shots and rejoin your family and friends.  Rain option here too, and their food here is off the hook good.  Great staff and all around great wedding venue for ocean city.

Lighthouse Sound – Right outside of Ocean City

Not far from ocean city at all, Lighthouse sound, does make for one of the most ideal wedding venues.  It is one of the rare spots you can get married with Ocean City and the beautiful bay as your back drop for your special day.  And you can’t get any bad photos here, this place offers many of wonderful photographic locations you should be taking advantage of.

They have some really elegant food here, and the staff here has always been so very helpful when I’ve been there.

Ocean Pines Yacht Club,

Ocean Pines Country Club &

Ocean Pines Golf Club – the Ocean Pines area

Getting married at any of these locations, it would be a very good idea to make sure family, friends, and wedding service providers know exactly which one you are at.  I have seen and hear of people going to say the Ocean Pines Country Club instead of the Golf Club because they got confused.

The Yacht club I think offers the best photo spots as it right on the water and you have ocean city as a back drop too.  This place is always really nice when decorated with lights.  This venue is more for an indoor ceremony.

The Country Club – you have the grounds of the golf course as some beautiful backdrops as well as they fountains close by.  Lots of good parking and you can have your wedding inside or outside.

The Golf Club – located in west Ocean City, this venue has some spectacular sunsets for sure.  You have the golf course to take photos on, and you can easily have your wedding inside or outside.  It’s close to Asseategue too, so you can have a ceremony there on the beach and make your way to the golf club for the reception.
